[CKF Info] Paddling on Sunday

Peter O and I (plus maybe Lee if he can get away), will be playing in The
Pond this Sunday. We're meeting at 8:30 and launching at 9:00. Winds are
supposed to be 10 knots or less, but the swell will be 4-6'. This should
make for some interesting waves to practice in. Good for surfing, practicing
bracing, and just having a good time.

 

If you are comfortable playing in these conditions, come out and join us.
Remember we are not guides, instructors, or professional kayakers and you
are responsible for your own safety. We do not paddle in these conditions
with people who are not wearing a pfd and if they are in a closed deck boat,
a skirt. You should also be comfortable doing wet exits.
