Kayakers,

Greenland paddles are great for rolling, but even more importantly, they are
also great for propelling and maneuvering your kayak. So Bob McMurray and I
have organized an informal clinic on how to perform the forward stroke and
some maneuvering strokes with the Greenland paddle.

We'll have this GP stroke clinic on Sunday, April 13th, 9-11am at Alamitos
Bay.

If you'd like to attend, bring a kayak, PFD, and Greenland paddle. If you
don't have a Greenland paddle, send out a email to the group, and maybe
someone will be able to bring one for you to borrow. The plan is to stay
dry, but all kayakers attending should know how and be experienced at
performing wet exits and be responsible for his or her own safety.
