[CKF Info] FEST Update

Ok Gang,

 

Here's what's happening so far. The FEST starts at 9:00 AM and lunch will be
catered. Please bring your own drinks as well as either a dessert or
appetizer if you can. Tables are really needed if you can bring one and any
kind of shelter is also welcome.

 

The schedule is as follows:

 

9:00 - 9:30 Gear swap. Bring any old gear you want to swap, give away, or
sell.

9:30 - 11:00 Paddle around Naples Island and explore the canals. This is a
beginner level paddle, but make sure you are wearing a pfd.

11:00 - 11:30 Demonstration of many Greenland style rolls by Peter
O'Sullivan.

11:30 - 12:00 Raffle and give aways.

12:00 - 12:30 Preparation for lunch and tentative talk by Jen Kleck on her
experiences of becoming a Level 5 Sea Coach (the only North American born
person to do so).

12:30 - 1:30 - Lunch

1:00 - 2:00 Backwards Paddling Relay Race

2:00 - ?   On your own.
