Thanks, Duane and Bob.? I really learned a lot of new things and I'm feeling more comfortable with my "skinny toothpick paddle."? The session was well organized and gave us an opportunity to try various styles of paddling.? We are fortunate to have such accomplished yakkers in our group.
The film at Bowers Museum was very exciting, but I think I'll stick to sea kayaking.? Shooting down a river in the Himalayas in the middle of winter is not my idea of good time.
The social at the Chez Berkery was a lot of fun and getting a bag of avocados was nice bonus.??Thanks, Ann and Emmett!

Kayakers,
?
What a wonderful long day of kayaking and friends!
?
There were 14 of us at the G-stroke clinic. We thought everyone was there, so we started 15 minutes early, but Blake from Newport Beach ended up being late, because he arrived on time. Hopefully everyone was able to take home a new tip or two, and if so, I'll consider the clinic a success. Thank you to everyone who added some input. I'll be trying a couple of new things myself to see how they work for me.
?
The Tibetan kayak adventure film at Bowers Museum was fun to watch. It was also great to hear? Q&A session afterward and get some insight into the Chinese/Tibet current issues. There were about 12 of us there from our group.
?
After the film, most of us went over to Ann and Emmett's home a few blocks away for drinks and snacks, avocado picking (look out below!), and conversation. Thank you for having us over. It was a great way to top off the day.
