I went to Elizabeth Lake, up near Green Valley outside of Lancaster/Palmdale
area.  It's a small fresh water lake with fishermen lining its shores. 

I put in with Kujo* (my doggie) on the floor of the kayak.  She's not fond
of water, but I am fond of her, so she goes.  Yes, she wears a DFD (Doggie
Floatation Device).
