When I look at that picture I say "WOW" that's are home waters. 

Some of you northerners ought to come down out of the frigid, iceberg infested, windy, nasty, cold Ventura County waters and paddle with us. How about y'all driftin on down south to meet us in Mission Bay on Saturday August 9 for a beautiful paddle from La Jolla Shores to Aqua Adventures in Mission Bay. If you haven't stroked this paddle you need to. It's a great excuse to get together in tropical mission bay. 

The reception for the Rough Otters after the paddle will be a meaningful event and celebration. A great excuse to get together with burgers, beer, and shuttle service to the launch site (space limited I'm sure). What else could a kayaker want?

Complete details on our CKF site. From Jen: The current plan is for them (Rough Otters) to launch at La Jolla Shores at 9am on Saturday, August 9th and paddle to Aqua Adventures. It would be great to have a huge flotilla to accompany them on their final leg. Aqua Adventures will be providing our trailer to get kayaks to the launch site so we can leave as many cars here as possible. We’ll meet at the shop at 7:30am.
