Join us for a paddle from the Newport Coast Guard
Beach to Reef Point on Sunday, June 8, 2008, starting
at 8:30 a.m.  If you're planning on doing the joint
CKF/SDKC paddle later this month (June 22), then this
is a good tune-up paddle for you to test your sea
legs.  Conditions are generally favorable from Newport
to Reef Point.  Distance is a little over 9 miles
round trip.

All the usual applies to being personally responsible
for yourself in case of an emergency.  Take what you
need with gear, equipment, and supplies for a paddle
in the ocean.

Lunch afterwards at the Fireside.
