Joint CKF & SDKC Dana Point Paddle

Launch Time:  8:30 a.m.
Launch From:  Dana Point Harbor - Right side of Mother's Beach as you face the water

Join us for the first joint CKF (California Kayak Friends) and SDKC (San Diego Kayak Club) paddle this coming Sunday, June 22, 2008, leaving from Dana Point and launching at 8:30 a.m.

We'll kayak down to Treasure Island for a paddle of about 15 miles round trip.  For those preferring to do a shorter paddle, Ben Zeldin will do a turn around at Three Arch Bay which will make it about a 10 mile round trip paddle.

All the usual applies to being responsible for your own safety and bringing appropriate gear, equipment, and supplies for an ocean paddle.

Directions:   Take the San Diego Freeway, I-5 to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), Camino Las Ramblas off ramp and follow the signs to Dana Point Harbor Drive. Turn left onto Dana Point Harbor Drive from PCH. Drive west past the boat slips and park in the lot near Mother's Beach.
