[CKF Info] Ventura Harbor paddle

Hey Steve and Robin

Thanks for gathering us all up today, Chris, Bev, Sue and myself, for a paddle in Ventura.  

Considering the weather report called for "small craft warning" in the afternoon I was happy to hear I wasn't the only one concerned about this report and was ok returning to the protection of the harbor for the rest of our paddle.  It looked like a nice calm day as we headed out to the Ventura Pier, but soon it turned into some pretty good chop and confused seas.  Considering this we turned around to do a harbor paddle.  Water temps' in the harbor were 20 or 68-72 depending on who you asked and you guys took full advantage of this as you can see in some of the pic's I got of you!  Everyone found out there's plenty of paddling and things to see and do in the harbor and places to practice re-entry's!  

What a way to beat the heat, explore new places, meet new friends and be with friends that have so much in common-paddling, eating and talking about our next trip!
