Thanks for sharing this link with us.  There's a wealth of good information
in there for us.  How about adding a link on the CKF web site?
 
Encouraging our members to be more courteous and cognizant of the needs of
those with whom we share the water is a great idea.  I can't count the
number of times I've seen paddlers spread out and idling in the middle of
harbor traffic lanes without realizing that they were being a nuisance.

Just to complicate the "Rules" even more, here is a link to California State
Boating Rules. These are in effect any place the Coast Guard rules are not.
http://www.dbw.ca.gov/Pubs/Abc/ So if you are paddling lakes, these rules
are the ones that apply.
