[CKF Info] Duane in Sea Kayaker Magazine

Hi all,

Well my new Sea Kayaker magazine came today, (2 months is a long time between issues!) And as I came back from the mailbox with it I noticed on the cover an article about Catalina Island. Cool, I thought, I'll have to check that out, after I read the safety article to see what kind of deep trouble people got into lately. :-)

So as I got to page 31, I was thrilled to see by the byline it was our own Duane Stosaker that penned this piece. And what a poetic opening in those first 2 paragraphs!

I'm new to the club and know nobody yet, but I did get to witness Duane's didgeridoo stylings and mini stand-up routine 'round the campfire at this year's Southwest Kayak Symposium, so it should be no surprise that he's a skilled journalist, too. Thanks Duane for an enjoyable and informative read!

I look forward to being able to find a chance to meet up with you all at an appropriate paddle for my newbie skill level.
