[CKF Info] Summer Paddler Practice Session

Peter O'Sullivan and possibly me will be hosting a re-entry and recovery
practice session Sunday, June 6 at Channel Islands Harbor. We will meet at
8:30 at Hobie Beach and launch at 9:00 AM.

 

This is a perfect opportunity to practice getting back into your kayak in
case of a capsize and wet exit. We will practice solo re-entries and
assisted re-entries. Those who need to work on their rolls will also be
helped.

 

Dress for immersion in the water and RSVP please.

 

Neither Peter nor I are professional kayakers or instructors. You are
responsible for your determining if your skills and equipment are suitable
for paddling with us.
