[CKF Info] CKF: Email list is coming to the 21st century

I try never to e-mail anything I might later regret. Archived or not  
just about everything that travels on the 'net is never really  
deleted. I've got archives of e-mail going back over ten years....

To paraphrase the crusading prosecutor & governor of New York Eliot  
Spitzer, 'Don't sign anything, don't write anything down, don't put it  
an e-mail.....'cause if you do, we'll get you.' He certainly proved it.

Perhaps we should attach a version of the Standard Suicide Pact to the  
sign-in for Mailing List access, We all know the personal  
responsibility form: "Kayaking is a potentially dangerous sport.... by  
joining us you agree to take full responsibility for your own  
safety..... some of us may know a lot, some of us may talk a lot....  
and not everyone who talks a lot knows a lot..... anything you choose  
to do with the information is your choice.......you may find yourself  
in the middle of a shipping lane trying to do something suggested by a  
guy in his underwear who couldn't sleep, but isn't quite awake."

Cause when you walk into Southwind or Aqua Adventures and ask for a  
"Wife Mouth Bag" you'll understand this.....or when you order Adobe  
Acrobat from Amazon cause someone wrote that you need a new PDF  
instead of a PFD from NRS...."
