Well summed up Steve...
I¹d just like to add that we had one amazing wildlife sighting in addition
to the dolphins (they are always amazing).
A bald eagle swooped down from one of the trees along a bluff, few past us
and then returned past us again. Unmistakable white head, with mottled
brown and white plumage...a juvenile I think. I believe I also noticed a
pair of blue tags on the underside of its wings. My guess is it¹s a
monitored bird from Santa Cruz. I¹m no ornithologist, so anyone else please
feel free to chime in...but this was no pelican or turkey vulture...and
different from any hawk I¹ve seen.
As if this part of the world isn¹t spectacular enough, we can now look
forward to the occasional eagle sighting on the coast! Wow.
Thanks everyone for a great day.
