[CKF Info] Skinboat in the Works

I'm in the learning curve of a SOF!  I've selected the ply frame SOF version
of the Ken Taylor Igdlorssuit kayak that was recently built by Kelly T. on
the builders kayakforum.  It is 16' 6" x 21 1/2". Completed weight is 23
pounds.  I'm only in the "learning how to loft" phase.  I've read Building a
Greenland Kayak by Cunningham, and cruising through the Greenland forums for
building information.  Do you have any comments or insight into this
particular design? I don't anticipate starting the build too soon, lots of
other projects to tidy up first, but this is in the plans.  Thanks for any
input you care to share.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I abandoned the skinboat project on Monday.
After spreading out the gunwales, I realized how much little precious spare
room I have for kayaks in my garage (only room for one more kayak) and that
I really didn't need a 14 footer in my fleet.
