<DIV>Four of us met Saturday for a leisurely launch through the 3-4' surf with a few larger sets thrown in. I managed to demonstrate my exquisite timimg by hitting ever breaker on my way out. The sea was a little choppy with the predicted swells and wind a reality. We head south for about 1.5 hours watching the offshore breakers and ground swell as to not get caught. As it was the underlying reefs and rocks left a definite footprint on the surface. </DIV>
<DIV>Turning back the wind and south swell was at our backs. We paddled towards the shore at the "caves" but elected to practice some rolls and towing rather than let risk the shallow water and exposed rocks to our composite boats. </DIV>
<DIV>At the shores we had an easy landing though the swell had picked up. The long sloping beach and haystacking 3-5' surf made it fun to navigate inside the surf zone paddling parallel to the beach with a little bracing practice as the breaking waves hit. </DIV>
<DIV>Another great day on the water...<BR> </DIV>
